Morph is mediocre at best on all but the very best of cards, and it never feels powerful. Frankly the majority of the cards in khans are shit for every constructed format under the sun, and they don't even feel good. I saw the theros spoilers and was like 'shit, a bunch of these will be awesome in my edh/semi-casual decks'. It brought down the power level from INN/RtR, but it did it by introducing new mechanics that, while definitely weaker in a vacuum, still provided great value and FELT powerful (ie bestow). Sure, theros was a power reset, but despite some complaints it was very good at what it did. If you're talking about constructed, then why do you ignore enablers that already exist in Theros block? The real problem for constructed is the lack of playable cards that actually have Prowess, but it wouldn't be the first time a block mechanic didn't find a home in standard, and Jeskai still brings some powerful constructed cards like Mantis Rider and their charm and ascendancy. While they may not all turn out to be playable, I think there's plenty there to enable a limited prowess deck. I've seen other theories about moving from Wedges to Shards when we move from Khans of Tarkir to Dragons of Tarkir, but MaRo has said that it was a poor decision to move from allied-pairs to enemy-pairs in the Lorwyn/Morningtide/Shadowmoor/Eventide sets, which makes it unlikely that they'll push shards again after pushing wedges. It would explain why they're not centered on an enemy colour (and why MaRo has to emphasise all the damned time why he can't talk about why) and allow the set to retain themed, albeit now monocoloured, decks based on Abzan Outlast and Jeskai Prowess.
